We know that reading is one activity our members are doing more of this year, and in our quest to offer our members our insider access and experiences tailored to their interests, we are excited to announce the launch of our Book Club. Our members will have the chance to engage with award-winning authors in a series of complimentary concierge-exclusive events and to celebrate, we’re gifting our members a complimentary book of their choice from our book-club event line-up.
Every month, starting in September, our Book Club will host live, virtual discussions with notable and prizewinning authors, covering enthralling works of non-fiction and fiction alike. One of our debut events will feature Bernardine Evaristo, winner of the 2019 Booker Prize for Girl, Woman, Other, which also scooped Fiction Book of the Year at the 2020 British Book Awards.
In later events, our members will have the chance to join a conversation about The Good Immigrant between Nikesh Shukla and Hari Kunzru, hear the award-winning writer Helon Habila talk about his latest book, Travellers, and ask Ben Macintyre about the spy exploits of Agent Sonya.
These virtual events are complimentary for our members, and members can attend as many as they like and invite their guests. Members will also be able submit a question for discussion beforehand or ask during the event itself.
